This year, Sentinel Safes became an official SOS Friend of SOS Children's Village Davao, a community in the southern Philippines that gives children who've lost parental care a stable, family-based home. The partnership will run for a year, supporting the children's daily needs, well-being, health, and development.

Safeguarding, Wherever You Are

SOS Children's Villages Pilipinas runs an ongoing public series called #SafeBonds, walking through their Child and Youth Safeguarding Policy: how they prevent harm, protect children already in their care, and support recovery when something has gone wrong.

It's the same word we build into every safe, just applied to something with far higher stakes. One recent post in the series put it simply: "Safeguarding is not just what we do. It is who we are."

We'd say the same about a cash rating, a fire rating, or a locking mechanism. None of it means much without the follow-through behind it. A safeguard, whether it protects a child or a collection, only works if it's built to hold up over time.
